It's been a long night. The map given to you makes no sense at all, sometimes you see a sign or a familiar landmark and try to use them for navigation, but you never end up where you expect to. The woods at night look all the same, dark and tall, undoubtedly magnificent, but you're grateful to have your warm and fast car to carry you through the night. You refuse to believe your eyes when finally you stumble onto a sign indicating there's a motel nearby. Of course it's not on the map. But you can already see several buildings surrounded by a faint glow further down the road. At least you can rest till morning, and then ask the locals for directions. This is all you want right now, a place of rest on this endless night road.
