Hikari(光)

This work is a photo tracing piece based on photographs taken under the elevated railway tracks near JR Ueno Station in Taito-ku, Tokyo, which I visited in 2018. I have long been attracted to photographs taken in this space, and this time I was finally able to do the heavy lifting and turn them into a work of art. I struggled with the slightly curved background of the panoramic shot. この作品は、2018年に訪れた東京都台東区のJR上野駅近くの高架下で撮影した写真をベースに制作した写真トレース作品です。 以前よりこの空間を撮影した写真に魅力を感じていましたが、今回ようやく重い腰を上げて作品化することができました。 少し湾曲したパノラマ撮影の背景に苦労しました。
